RecruitR is pleased to announce that an exciting opportunity has arisen at one their expanding open pit operations in Western Australia for a team focused Electrical Maintenance Planner. This impressive international organization is offering a role to lead operations and maintenance planning improvement initiatives in fixed and mobile plant.
As the Electrical Maintenance Planner you will be reporting directly to the Senior Maintenance Planner whilst working as part of the professional Business Improvement team. In this role you will be responsible for the developing the SAP system, identifying deficiencies, recommending enhancements, and improving decision-making by ensuring the full utilization of the CMMS. Your role will have a strong focus on safety standards and will have the following responsibilities:
* Monitoring work orders ensuring correct coding and allocation of costs and resources
* Collate condition monitoring data and provide technical advice for electrical equipment purchase
* Analysis of SAP and condition monitoring systems to identify area for business improvement
* Act in supervisory roles when required.
* Creating methodologies to increase availability of plant, ensuring production targets can be achieved.
* Play a key role in proactive maintenance, contributing to overall mine performance.
* Developing cost effective maintenance planning strategies across varied departments including shutdown schedules
Candidates will have appropriate tertiary qualifications coupled with at least five years experience within a similar electrical role. You will be required to demonstrate experience in detailed scoping and maintenance planning activities coupled with strong computer literacy and a background with MS Project. The successful applicant will be required to provide proactive strategies and have a breadth of knowledge in modern maintenance practices.
