A Global Leader within the Oil & Gas Industry has an immediate vacancy for Permanent / Fulltime a Lead Safety Engineer that has had recent experience working on offshore oil & gas platform design projects.
Requirements:
To be considered for this position you must have at least a University Degree in Chemical Engineering and 10 years related experience as a Safety Engineer within the oil & gas industry. In addition to this you must also have proven management / leadership experience.
Responsible :
The Lead Safety Engineer will supervise, lead and provide technical direction to a group of engineers and designers and will be responsible for employee performance appraisals, coaching and developing lower level professionals as well as producing plans budgets and other management duties.
The Lead Safety Engineer will be responsible for providing safety related input to oil & gas facilities design projects including process hazard reviews, hazard consequence modeling, process hazard analyses, risk assessment studies, Safety Integrity Level determinations, and management of changes as related to safety.
