Description
My client is a dynamic operator who requires an industry leading western drilling HSE specialist to develop and maintain North Sea equivalent standards for the start up drilling phase of my client. This is a rapidly expanding company in need of strong leadership and proven knowledge to design, implement and maintain company HSE levels for drilling. This role is only suitable for a strong decision maker who has come from an operating company background.
As a suitable professional you will have a minimum of 15 years post education field experience in HSE and drilling. A degree in engineering or a relevant science discipline and qualifications in HSE are essential. You must be fully versed in start up operations and have a hands on attitude to getting things done. Actions speak louder than words for my client and as such prior proven success in HSE is essential. Training and coaching locals is the fundamental part of maintaining high standards in the area. This is a start up from the ground up so experience in HSE manuals, management systems and implementing these is needed. This job will require frequent site travel.
