The company is now set to embark on a major expansion of its capacity and needs to recruit a number of key positions in its plants located in Ruwais, Abu Dhabi, U.A.E.
EnerPro Pte Ltd, a recruitment specialist in Petrochemical, Oil and Gas and Marine Industries is collaborating with Borouge to assist them in this recruitment process.
1. Plant Optimization Engineer (EP0811344)
(UAE)
Responsibilities:
Evaluate the Predictive, Preventive and breakdown maintenance strategies with respect to cost to improve the equipment reliability & availability.
Coorperate with PA in order to optimize the maintenance cost by choosing & implementing best maintenances strategy suitable for PE Plant.
Act as the rotating equipment expert in operation. Follows up and review start up procedures to ensure best possible handling at optimum conditions of all rotating equipment. Verifies that all recommendations from vendor documentation is implemented in the all time available procedures, updates the procedures with new vendor recommendations and develops procedures for new equipment. Ensures that operators knowledge are in line with best known practices for enhancing safety and life time of all rotating equipment.
Evaluate chronic equipment problem in coordination with various discipline, identify areas of design review, participate in the root cause failure analysis process in order to make the equipment more reliable.
Follow up all equipment failures in PE plant. Knows at all time status and location of equipment sent outside for repair/overhaul.
Participate with operation knowledge in all failure analyze reports (FAR) from PA and is responsible for closing out all action points which fall under operation.
Improve, select & indigenous consumable operation items.
Evaluate & optimize maintenance best practices in PE Plant. (ie TPM)
Participate in the business improvement process for achieving company objectives to optimize operation & maintenance costs.
Organize maintenance champions in shifts, conduct regular meetins with them to improve safety, knowledge and effectiveness of maintenance carried out by operation personnel. Follow up stock of tools and consumable parts for the 1st line maintenance.
Identify and suggest maintenance related training needs for operation staff to training department.
Evaluate/review shutdown (Major & Minor) activities to reduce cost & plant down time in coordinate with PE operation & PA team.
Create cost effective ideas and its implementation upon approval.
Perform periodic audit of SAP system to ensure equipment spares availability, Complete BOM, PM plans and updated maintenance history.
Act as operation support to all in-house PMP’s with PA-Project team and process support group. If applicable develops necessary procedures and identifies operation personnel training needs.
Contribute to all maintenance projects, like ERM, where input from operation is needed.
Participate in Design risk analysis, HAZOP, Model review, etc with reference to project.
Arrange monthly PE/PA coordinator meetings.
Requirements:
Candidates must have a degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
8 years experience in plant operation/maintenance in Petrochemical or in Oil & Gas Processing Industry.
Specific operation experience in PE plant for a minimum period of 5 years.
Must have skills to evaluate cost & budget reports.
Very good knowledge of English (spoken & written)
Good IT skills
2. PE Safety Coordinator (EP0811343)

Responsibilities:
Maintains, keep records and assure that all Incident Reports related to PE are handled thru KMS and PE Incident Status Report Excel Sheet.
Update and follow up closing of Incident Report actions items and update status accordingly.
Screens incident reports, ensures that PS and CEL rating are carried out and communicate the high score incidents to the rest of the organization.
Coordinates and form Task Force Group are required to evaluate and come up with the corrective actions on the critical Incident Reports.
Coordinates and supervises schedulesd Weekly & Monthly Safety Walk Tour in PE Plants.
Ensure that Weekly and Monthly Safety Walk Tour items are done and follow up closing by raising W.O’s and informing the concern Department for necessary actions.
Keep records of all Safety Walk Tour Reports and update status.
Participates and coordinates in the development of Plant Emergency Procedures/ Incident Command System and Meetings.
Received and keep records of Borouge Safety Observation Tour Reports related to PE from HSE. Conduct necessary actions and follow up closing on issues/items mentioned and update status accordingly.
Act as Permanent Secretary Member of the PE HSE Committee.
Coordinates and facilitates PE HSE Meetings as per schedule. Produce, distribute and keep records of PE HSE Monthly Meetings (MOM) and follow up on all corrective actions.
Organize and coordinates with HSE & Q Division on Special Safety Campaigns, Safety Audit, Health & Environmental Issues and Housekeeping Campaigns.
Ensures compliance by PE personnel with all Safety and fire regulations, including incident and near miss reports with Operations Manager and subordinates in order to avoid recurrance.
Support PE Operation Manager by proposing and prioritizing safety initiatives. Suggests improvement of procedures, systems and equipment in order to enhance and improve safety in PE Plants.
Provide Monthly HSE Report, Statistics and status for PE Operation Manager.
Make initiatives for the required safety training for PE Operation Manager.
Ensures and monitor good housekeeping of PE Plants.
Conduct frequent review on safety systems in PE, such as but not limited to: Work permits, blinds lists, bypass log and Master isolation cards.
Actively seeks ways of improving safety level within PE organization by procedural or practical enhancement.
Requirements:
Completion of Technical Secondary (12 years) education.
8 years experience in various plant operations respects, preferably in an oil&gas or petrochemical industry.
Good knowledge of English - Spoken and written
Good IT skills.
