The Role
This position will see the successful applicant provide reservoir engineering solutions to the Senior Reservoir Engineer within the Subsurface team. This role will be performed within a multi disciplinary environment and you will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects. Key responsibilities within the role includes:
- Building and maintenance of dynamic simulation models
- Managing of PVT analysis, special core studies and routine core analysis
- Determining phase behaviour and EOS characterisation
- Updating GAP/resolve block wide field development planning and forecasting models, as well as recommendations
- Development of value added data acquisition plans
- Provide reservoir engineering input for well proposals
- Evaluating impact of development wells
Education and Experience
The company would like applying individuals to be educated to MSc level, ideally in Petroleum Engineering or within a related discipline. Experience in numerical simulation modelling also desirable, as well as a good understanding of Petroleum Geology and Reservoir Engineering. Any local knowledge would be advantageous but it is not essential.

- Excellent understanding of reservoir evaluation techniques, reservoir modelling and simulation
- Reservoir management and production forecasting skills
- Self starter with the ability to hit the ground running
- Ability to work well with others and within differing departments
- Problem solving mentality and a proactive attitude
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
