Our Client is recognised as a genuine leader in the field of Offshore EPC Construction projects within the Oil & Gas Sector. With substantial projects across the globe and an ever increasing workbook within the region, they seek the services of a Senior Contracts Administrator to join their team.
Requirements:
A good candidate for this role must come from a Project Cost Control/Quantity Surveyor background with MINIMUM 5 years of experience in contractual or legal management for projects. Strong commercial awareness and experience in company safety and quality management systems would be essential. You must be able to work under pressure and with strong adherence to ethical behaviour at work. Good interpersonal, people management and leadership skills would be ideal. Excellent command on the spoken and written English language is also essential.
For this role, your key responsibilities will include but not limited to:
•Strategically managing prospective and ongoing contract documents.
•Preparing/reviewing contract strategies, bid list, packages, evaluating of tenders, contracts, change orders, claims and correspondence.
•Ensure claims and notices on any BAR incident are processed in a timely manner.
•Set-up invoice process with the Cost Controller and administration of the project.
•Provide advise to SCM on main contract terms and conditions and assist the team in agreement preparation when needed.
•Identify and control supplier changes when requested.
•Advice the team in negotiation of contracts, change orders and claims resolution.
•Ensure that team understands and properly administers the contract.
