A senior independent exploration, development and production company with core operations in Western Canada, North Sea & West Africa seeks dynamic, talented and self-motivated candidates to join their teams in the Netherlands. This operator plans to double its production in the coming years and has exciting growth opportunities ahead, as such they are looking for proven and experienced Well Services Engineers.

Requirements of the role

Reporting to the Well Services Team Leader you will be responsible for the engineering & operations of all Well Services activities. Key responsibilities will include:

• To be aware of the mechanical condition, importance of all production & injection wells.
• To plan, direct & supervise all platform based well service activities & perform risk assessment timely, safely & cost effectively.
• To implement instructions to maximise uptime for & production and injection & identify opportunities that will enhance production & injection.
• To identify new technology & methodology capable of reducing well service times & costs and identify non-rig possibilities for well servicing & xmas tree maintenance or removal.
• To plan offshore well services activities & to provide advice & leadership to offshore Well Service crews so that all activities are undertaken safely & cost effectively.
• To monitor well service expenditure against budgets and AFE’s and ensure cost control of such activities.

Education & Experience:

The applicant will need qualifying knowledge alongside:

• Industry experience and operational experience must be demonstrated when supervising.
• Thorough knowledge of all aspects of Well Servicing including slickline, braided line, electric line, coiled tubing, nitrogen pumping & wellhead maintenance.
• Teamwork, initiative, an excellent standard of work habits including presentation & delivery, focussed attitude and excellent & concise communication are a must.
